# Kiwi for Confluence

Have the agent on a Kiwi step read the Confluence page that specifies its work and publish its notes there, through the Atlassian Rovo MCP Server.

- Your agent works in Confluence through its own connection. Kiwi does not call Confluence and never holds its credentials.
- A workflow skill can list Confluence among the tools it requires. When you supply your agent's available tools to a skill check and Confluence is not among them, the check reports `SK15-UNSUPPORTED-TOOL`.
- A project Admin can add links to Confluence, with notes, under Connections and bind them to the steps that use them. The agent reads them with `list_connections`.
- The agent can report the tools and plugins it ran with, including its Confluence connection, with `report_configuration`.
- The agent submits links to its work in Confluence as the step's outputs. People review them, and sign-off stays with the people your workflow names.

## What your agent can do in Confluence

- Read a page, blog post or live doc, and list the spaces it can reach.
- Create a page in a space or update an existing page.
- Add a footer or inline comment to a page, and read the comments already on it.
- Compare two versions of a page to see what changed since a spec was last read.
- Add labels to a page so that the team can find it later.

## Set up

### 1. Connect your agent to Kiwi

Add Kiwi's hosted MCP server, `https://kiwiflow.io/mcp`, to your coding agent.

- [Coding agents](https://kiwiflow.io/integrations#agent)
- [Quickstart](https://docs.kiwiflow.io/quickstart#connect-your-agent)

### 2. Connect your agent to Confluence

Add the Confluence MCP server to your agent with this URL. The credentials stay with your agent.

```
https://mcp.atlassian.com/v2/mcp
```

- [Confluence documentation](https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-ai-gateway/docs/get-started-with-the-atlassian-remote-mcp-server/)

### 3. Example skill

Publish instructions like these as a workflow skill that lists Confluence among its required tools.

```
Read the Confluence page linked in the run's inputs; it holds the spec.
Raise open questions as inline comments on the page instead of guessing.
Write the release notes as a new page in the same space.
Submit the new page URL as the step's outputs.
The page owner named in the assignment approves the published notes.
If you cannot reach the space, call report_blocker with the space key.
```
