Kiwi for Grafana
Have the agent on a Kiwi step query Prometheus and Loki through Grafana and link the dashboard panel it checked, using the Grafana MCP server.
- Your agent works in Grafana through its own connection. Kiwi does not call Grafana and never holds its credentials.
- A workflow skill can list Grafana among the tools it requires. When you supply your agent's available tools to a skill check and Grafana is not among them, the check reports
SK15-UNSUPPORTED-TOOL. - A project Admin can add links to Grafana, with notes, under Connections and bind them to the steps that use them. The agent reads them with
list_connections. - The agent can report the tools and plugins it ran with, including its Grafana connection, with
report_configuration. - The agent submits links to its work in Grafana as the step's outputs. People review them, and sign-off stays with the people your workflow names.
What your agent can do in Grafana
- Run PromQL queries against Prometheus data sources and LogQL queries against Loki.
- Search dashboards, read the queries behind a panel and build a link to a dashboard or panel.
- List alert rules and their current state.
- Look up incidents in Grafana Incident and who is on call in Grafana OnCall.

Run the Grafana MCP server where your agent runs. The credentials stay with your agent.

Publish instructions like these as a workflow skill that lists Grafana among its required tools.
Take the alert name and the time window from the step's inputs. In Grafana, run the alert rule's PromQL query over that window and read the Loki logs that carry the same labels. Submit a link to the dashboard panel and a short summary as the outputs. If the data source returns no data, report a blocker to the run's Owner. Do not edit or silence alert rules.
