Kiwi for New Relic
Have the agent on a Kiwi step run NRQL queries and check how a release changed an application in New Relic, through New Relic's MCP server.
- Your agent works in New Relic through its own connection. Kiwi does not call New Relic and never holds its credentials.
- A workflow skill can list New Relic among the tools it requires. When you supply your agent's available tools to a skill check and New Relic is not among them, the check reports
SK15-UNSUPPORTED-TOOL. - A project Admin can add links to New Relic, with notes, under Connections and bind them to the steps that use them. The agent reads them with
list_connections. - The agent can report the tools and plugins it ran with, including its New Relic connection, with
report_configuration. - The agent submits links to its work in New Relic as the step's outputs. People review them, and sign-off stays with the people your workflow names.
What your agent can do in New Relic
- Turn a plain-language question into NRQL and run the query against account data.
- Analyze the impact of a deployment and list the change events recorded for an entity.
- List an application's recent issues and error groups, and read its golden metrics, slow transactions and logs.
- Fetch the details of a distributed trace.
- New Relic marks its MCP server as a public preview.

Publish instructions like these as a workflow skill that lists New Relic among its required tools.
Read the application name and the release version from the run's inputs. In New Relic, analyze the impact of that deployment and list the error groups that first appeared after it. Submit the NRQL queries you ran and the error group links as outputs. If New Relic has no deployment marker for the release, report a blocker. Leave any rollback decision to the run's Owner.
