Kiwi

Kiwi for PractiTest

Have the agent on a Kiwi step check requirement coverage and record test runs in PractiTest through PractiTest's MCP server.

  • Your agent works in PractiTest through its own connection. Kiwi does not call PractiTest and never holds its credentials.
  • A workflow skill can list PractiTest among the tools it requires. When you supply your agent's available tools to a skill check and PractiTest is not among them, the check reports SK15-UNSUPPORTED-TOOL.
  • A project Admin can add links to PractiTest, with notes, under Connections and bind them to the steps that use them. The agent reads them with list_connections.
  • The agent can report the tools and plugins it ran with, including its PractiTest connection, with report_configuration.
  • The agent submits links to its work in PractiTest as the step's outputs. People review them, and sign-off stays with the people your workflow names.

What your agent can do in PractiTest

  • Read requirements and see which tests cover them.
  • Create scripted, BDD or API tests and link them to requirements.
  • Create a test set, add tests to it, and record a run with its result for each test instance.
  • Search tests, test sets, instances and runs across a PractiTest project.

Set up

  1. Connect your agent to Kiwi

Add Kiwi's hosted MCP server, https://kiwiflow.io/mcp, to your coding agent.

  2. Connect your agent to PractiTest

Add the PractiTest MCP server to your agent with this URL. The credentials stay with your agent.

    https://prod.practitest.com/mcp/v1/server
  3. Example skill

Publish instructions like these as a workflow skill that lists PractiTest among its required tools.

Start from the requirement ID and the PractiTest project in the assignment.
Check which tests cover the requirement and add tests for missing cases.
Create a test set for the step, run its instances and record each result.
Submit the test set link and the run results as the step's outputs.
If an update fails, stop and report a blocker to the step owner; the
assigned reviewer reads the runs in PractiTest.
