Kiwi

Kiwi for Grafana k6

Have the agent on a Kiwi step write, validate and run Grafana k6 load test scripts through the k6 MCP server.

  • Your agent works in Grafana k6 through its own connection. Kiwi does not call Grafana k6 and never holds its credentials.
  • A workflow skill can list Grafana k6 among the tools it requires. When you supply your agent's available tools to a skill check and Grafana k6 is not among them, the check reports SK15-UNSUPPORTED-TOOL.
  • A project Admin can add links to Grafana k6, with notes, under Connections and bind them to the steps that use them. The agent reads them with list_connections.
  • The agent can report the tools and plugins it ran with, including its Grafana k6 connection, with report_configuration.
  • The agent submits links to its work in Grafana k6 as the step's outputs. People review them, and sign-off stays with the people your workflow names.

What your agent can do in Grafana k6

  • Validate a k6 script before running it.
  • Run a k6 script and read its results.
  • Look up the k6 documentation, section by section, for the APIs a script needs.

Set up

  1. Connect your agent to Kiwi

Add Kiwi's hosted MCP server, https://kiwiflow.io/mcp, to your coding agent.

  2. Connect your agent to Grafana k6

Run the Grafana k6 MCP server where your agent runs. The credentials stay with your agent.

    k6 x mcp
  3. Example skill

Publish instructions like these as a workflow skill that lists Grafana k6 among its required tools.

Start from the endpoint and the load profile named in the assignment.
Write a k6 script for the profile and validate it before running.
Run the script once and record the request rate, errors and p95 latency.
Submit the script path and the k6 summary as the step's outputs.
If the run fails or misses a threshold, stop and report a blocker to the
step owner; the assigned reviewer decides whether the result meets the target.
