Kiwi for Linear
Have the agent on a Kiwi step read the Linear issue it works on and post its findings as a comment, through Linear's MCP server.
- Your agent works in Linear through its own connection. Kiwi does not call Linear and never holds its credentials.
- A workflow skill can list Linear among the tools it requires. When you supply your agent's available tools to a skill check and Linear is not among them, the check reports
SK15-UNSUPPORTED-TOOL. - A project Admin can add links to Linear, with notes, under Connections and bind them to the steps that use them. The agent reads them with
list_connections. - The agent can report the tools and plugins it ran with, including its Linear connection, with
report_configuration. - The agent submits links to its work in Linear as the step's outputs. People review them, and sign-off stays with the people your workflow names.
What your agent can do in Linear
- Find an issue and read its description and linked context to start the work.
- Post findings or a progress update as a comment on the issue.
- Create issues with clear titles and descriptions, or turn a planning document into a project with milestones and related issues.
- Gather the issues a team completed in a cycle to summarize what shipped.
- Connect to https://mcp.linear.app/mcp/readonly when a step should only read Linear data.

Publish instructions like these as a workflow skill that lists Linear among its required tools.
Take the Linear issue ID from the run's inputs and read its description. Investigate the reported bug and find the likely root cause. Post the findings as a comment on the issue, with the pull request link. Submit the issue URL and the pull request link as the step's outputs. Changes to the issue's priority or cycle are for the team's triage owner. If the issue cannot be found, call report_blocker with the issue ID.
