Kiwi

Kiwi for Trello

Have the agent on a Kiwi step move its Trello card across the board and comment its result, through Trello's MCP server.

  • Your agent works in Trello through its own connection. Kiwi does not call Trello and never holds its credentials.
  • A workflow skill can list Trello among the tools it requires. When you supply your agent's available tools to a skill check and Trello is not among them, the check reports SK15-UNSUPPORTED-TOOL.
  • A project Admin can add links to Trello, with notes, under Connections and bind them to the steps that use them. The agent reads them with list_connections.
  • The agent can report the tools and plugins it ran with, including its Trello connection, with report_configuration.
  • The agent submits links to its work in Trello as the step's outputs. People review them, and sign-off stays with the people your workflow names.

What your agent can do in Trello

  • Search cards and boards by keyword and read a card with its labels, members and checklists.
  • Create and update cards, move them between lists and mark a card done.
  • Add checklist items to a card and update them as the work progresses.
  • Read, add and edit comments on a card.
  • Attach a web link, such as a pull request URL, to a card.

Set up

  1. Connect your agent to Kiwi

Add Kiwi's hosted MCP server, https://kiwiflow.io/mcp, to your coding agent.

  2. Connect your agent to Trello

Add the Trello MCP server to your agent with this URL. The credentials stay with your agent.

    https://mcp.trello.com/v1
  3. Example skill

Publish instructions like these as a workflow skill that lists Trello among its required tools.

Find the Trello card named in the assignment and read its checklist.
Do the work, complete each checklist item as you finish it and move the card
    to the Review list.
Comment on the card with a short summary and attach the pull request link.
Submit the card URL and the pull request link as the step's outputs.
Moving the card to Done is for the board owner.
If the card cannot be found, call report_blocker with the card name.
