Kiwi for YouTrack
Have the agent on a Kiwi step read its YouTrack issue, hand it to a reviewer and log the time it spent, through YouTrack's MCP server.
- Your agent works in YouTrack through its own connection. Kiwi does not call YouTrack and never holds its credentials.
- A workflow skill can list YouTrack among the tools it requires. When you supply your agent's available tools to a skill check and YouTrack is not among them, the check reports
SK15-UNSUPPORTED-TOOL. - A project Admin can add links to YouTrack, with notes, under Connections and bind them to the steps that use them. The agent reads them with
list_connections. - The agent can report the tools and plugins it ran with, including its YouTrack connection, with
report_configuration. - The agent submits links to its work in YouTrack as the step's outputs. People review them, and sign-off stays with the people your workflow names.
What your agent can do in YouTrack
- Search issues with a YouTrack query, or start from one of the user's saved searches.
- Read a project's issue fields before creating an issue or a draft, then update the fields as the work moves on.
- Change an issue's assignee, tag it, link it to related issues and log the time spent on it.
- Create, update and search articles in the knowledge base.
- Connect with OAuth once a system administrator sets up client registration, or with a permanent token when the client cannot complete OAuth.

Publish instructions like these as a workflow skill that lists YouTrack among its required tools.
Read the YouTrack issue ID from the assignment and fetch the issue. Comment on the issue with your approach before you change any code. When the change is ready, assign the issue to the reviewer named in the inputs. Log the time you spent, then submit the issue URL and the pull request link. If YouTrack hides the project from AI tools, call report_blocker.
